01 Our Responsible Business

Our work makes a positive difference

As a responsible business our work makes a positive difference to the environment, our clients, their customers and the communities we serve and live in, by creating a safer, sustainable future.

It is about more than what we do, it is about how we behave and how we live our values through our people, demonstrating our wider social commitment through our work, will help us ‘shape a better world’.

At MWH Treatment being a Responsible Business is covered through six key areas and we are continually improving how we operate through active membership of Business in the Community.

02 Our History

Our 200 years of defining the past is helping us shape the future

MWH Treatment’s roots were founded 200 years ago in 1820. Our evolution has involved some of the sectors leading names, Ames Crosta, Whitehead & Poole, Biwater and finally, Montgomery Watson Harza (MWH). Today, through that history, agility and single sector focus, we have become one of the water sectors leading solution providers with six major AMP 7 frameworks.

03 Our Knowledge

Exceptional knowledge and experience

Our 200 year water sector legacy means that we have worked on over 75% of our clients’ non-infrastructure assets. This, combined with our knowledge management system creates a corporate and regionalised experience that gives us a deep understanding of asset performance. This improves our ability to create safe sustainable solutions, with enhanced resilience when addressing our clients’ current and future challenges.

04 Our Partnership Story

We pride ourselves on being the most partnered company in the water sector

Our business success is founded on our partnerships with our clients, the communities we serve and live in, our critical supply chain and our Alliances and JV partners. They are all essential to what we do and achieve. Working collaboratively to deliver safe, innovative, sustainable solutions with enhanced resilience is driven by those relationships.

05 Our Supply Chain

Helping us create safe, innovative solutions through collaboration

We recognise and appreciate the importance of our supply chain supporting the cyclical and often specialist nature of programmes and projects in the water sector. That’s why we engage strategically with our critical supply chain, harvesting innovative contributions early in the programme and projects, bringing tangible benefits for our clients.
