MWH Treatment is a water sector leading solution provider with a 200 year legacy behind us. As a responsible business our focus is on safe delivery of sustainable solutions with enhanced resilience and maximum positive impact on the environment and the communities we serve and live in.
We operate across the UK water industry with over 800 process intelligent, multi-disciplined, engineering, procurement, delivery and commissioning professionals. Our teams are co-located across six major Frameworks, including integrated Joint Ventures and Alliances, supported by our Manchester based support services centre.
Our truly integrated design delivery culture provides a complete range of end to end services for all water and wastewater solutions from major programmes and projects through to minor capital delivery maintenance, process optimisation and operations.
In addition, MWH Treatment’s 100 strong multi-trade, direct workforce provides us with an increasing self-delivery capability. This combines efficiently with our established and critical supply chain, providing a productivity focus crucial to delivering value across smaller capital maintenance projects.
We constantly push innovation and collaboration boundaries, including our internationally awarded Digital Delivery strategy, supporting our clients in outperforming their regulatory challenges.

Our 200 years of defining the past is helping us shape the future
MWH Treatment’s roots were founded 200 years ago in 1820. Our evolution has involved some of the sectors leading names, Ames Crosta, Whitehead & Poole, Biwater and finally, Montgomery Watson Harza (MWH). Today, through that history, agility and single sector focus, we have become one of the water sectors leading solution providers with six major AMP 7 frameworks.
