MWHT Sign The People Matter Charter

;

At MWH Treatment we pride ourselves as being a responsible business. Our work makes a positive difference to the environment, our clients, their customers and the community. We are always looking for ways to better ourselves and improve the way we operate, so we are delighted to announce we have signed the People Matter Charter with the Supply Chain Sustainability School.

The People Matter Charter is a set of criteria that we have now committed to meeting. This includes wellbeing, equality, human rights, diversity and inclusion, workplace culture and training. We must demonstrate how we meet the criteria with a case study in 12 months’ time. See the attached Commitments document which shows the 8 areas of the People Matter Charter. We already comply with these commitments; however, improvements are still needed in some key areas.

“Signing the People Matter Chartership and working with the Supply Chain Sustainability School is another step towards improving ourselves and the way we approach our business. Working to meet the criteria set will not only make us a better and more responsible business but will have a positive impact on our people” said Catherine Price, National Environmental and Sustainability Manager.

“We are delighted to sign the People Matter Chartership. Improving the way we operate is hugely important and I look forward to how we change and adapt to become a more responsible business.” said Paul Bresnan, Managing Director.

At the Supply Chain Sustainability School there is a wealth of e-learning modules, webinars and virtual events that you could be part of. If you are interested in signing up search for MWH Treatment Ltd in the sign-up process when you are asked for your company.

We are just at the start of the People Matter Charter, but there will be further communications to come this year. We will also be promoting the Charter within our supply chain.
